I am using NPVR (5.1.4) with Kodi (19.1) and Schedules Direct for the EPG.

The Guide under both Kodi and NPVR only shows a couple of days and I would like it to show at least two weeks or even more. The guide does keep up to date.

In the NPVR config.xml file I can see the entry   <SchedulesDirectDays>14</SchedulesDirectDays>

In Kodi Settings I see Future Days to display = 14.

What else has to be set to get more days of guide info? Where are these settings entered?

Thanks, Mike

Do a Schedules Direct scan and upload your zipped logs and we can have a look.

Sending too much data to Kodi for it's internal database can really slows things though, you have to decide why you need that much in Kodi when the web app is quite practical for scheduling

Be careful, because unlike in v4, in NPVR v5 (I'm not sure what version this change was made), there are 2 "SchedulesDirectDays" fields in config.xml!

SchedulesDirectDays: controls how many days NextPVR will try to get from SchedulesDirect when you do a manual EPG update (from the button in the web app, and (I think) also when adding a new device/channels, when triggering from Nscripthelper, etc.

SchedulesDirectDaysOvernight: controls how many days NextPVR will try to get from SD when the automatic EPG update runs.

It looks like the defaults are 9 and 15 days respectively. The manual update value is lower by default so that those updates (such as when adding new devices/channels) will complete more quickly. But this behavior does mean that if you currently have 15 days of guide data (from the last overnight run) and then you do a manual update, you will effectively "temporarily lose" 6 days of guide data until the next automatic update.
