1. Make a advanced recording from TV Guide (leave everything default) and Save
2. Go to Scheduler > Pending and edit the one you created in step 1. Notice that the pre/post padding values are the current defaults from Settings > General
3. Go to Settings > General and change the pre/post padding defaults
4. Go to Scheduler > Pending and edit the one you created in step 1. Change the pre/post values to Default.

Actual result: Edit again and you will notice the values are *unchanged*.
Expected result: it should take the current default values from the settings.

The same bug happens when editing the Recurring schedule.
The same bug happens if you choose a "record series"-recording in step 1 (which is logically since an advanced recording with default values is also of type record series (all-episodes))

Btw 1: changing the values to a different concrete value does work correctly.
Btw 2: if you make a simple "record once"-recording it does work as expected.

The term default is a bit misleading, it is more of a guide to help when creating a default schedule. Internally NextPVR has no method to save a default padding value it is stored with the current settings only.

It only does this when creating... not when you *edit*. It should re-read the actual default settings and use those values to set it when you choose Default when editing.
Or just remove the Default option from dropdown when editing (which I do not favor).

Also how do you explain that it does work when making a simple "record once"-recording?
