NextPVR is chosing the lowest quality stream from one m3u8

Hi, I just started using NextPVR a couple of days ago, so I don't have much experience with it yet, and I can't say if my problem was introduced in a later release or not.
I started directly on version 5.1.4.210802

My issue is that in one perticular m3u8 stream, NextPVR is for some reason picking the lowest quality stream of the options available.
Its an hls stream with 5 different qualities. NextPVR choses the lowest and sticks with it.

The same stream works fine with VLC, Kodi, or ffmpeg directly. They all pick the highest quality option.

This is on Linux (Debian 11), as I don't have Windows machine available I can't test if this is a Linux spesific issue or not.

Yes, but at that point NextPVR has already selected the low quality stream, and is feeding that stream to ffmpeg.
As mention in first post, I can take the original m3u8 and feed to ffmpeg and ffmpeg will select the correct hig quality stream.
If you see 4 lines down from the line you mention you can see that ffmpeg is already fed with the low quality stream rather than the original m3u8.

Sub, the author would have to confirm, but NextPVR isn't rebuilding the m3u8 file to send to ffmpeg when it requesting the separate a/v components, that wouldn't make sense. Edit: I see that two streams are sent but no subtitles.

What do you see for bandwidth and codecs when you use

Also perhaps you have more than one m3u entry for that channel?

I only have this channel once. (I don't have that many channels in total, so its easy to keep track of them)
This is the output given. (the stream links below will expire).
The link that is given to ffmpeg is the one with 256x144 resolution. The stream link ends with /a.m3u8. This is the link you can see is fed to ffmpeg in the log file.
If it will help I can send you the original m3u8 link in pm. It's not geoblocked, the channel is also free to watch.

Gotcha, I see sub is actually sending two stream URLs to ffmpeg so he will have to respond.
