Dear Forum Members,

An IPTV provider gives the following addresses to fetch the channels :
- rtp://239.186.68.3:10000

#EXTINF:-1 tvg-id="RTS1.ch" tvg-name="RTS un CH" tvg-logo="http://static.iptv-epg.com/ch/RTS1.ch.png" tvg-chno="92" channel-id="92",RTS1 HD
rtp://239.186.68.3:10000

All channels with RTP don't show up in the device list, when importing, but channels with UDP do.

Is there a way to get those channels with RTP protocol ?

Thanks and best regards.

I suggest following the instructions given here, https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=61371

Totally unrelated, how would you prefer seeing the names in the NextPVR EPG? "RTS un CH", "RTS deux CH" or "RTS1 HD", "RTS2 HD" I am trying to determine the relevancy of the tvg_name field in the m3u.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for taking time to reply.

The given thread doesn't answer my question. It's also not about how the channels are showing.

The problem is that when I import the *.m3u the channels with an URL beginning with rtp:// are just not on the list. They are ignored.

Is there a way to get them accepted by NextPVR / Kodi ?

Thanks, best regards.

The important point was you need to provide the m3u file or URL to sub via PM so he can look at it.

Yeah, do you possibly have an example m3u with rtp streams that I can take a look at? It shouldn't take much work for me to add this, assuming I've got something to test briefly.
