Tablo Guide Information

I used the Extra that was created by Martin.  It is installed and it is working fine.

The Tablo I have has a guide subscription.  Is it possible to extract or port the guide information over to NextPVR?

I considered it but it was not worth the effort. Schedules Direct is only $25 US a year and is a bargain.

@kevin-pvr When I was looking at the support for the HDMI device I figured getting the EPG from the device wasn't that hard. Would you be willing to give a utility that creates an XMLTV file a test?

Martin, I would love to try a utility that does this. I just purchased a Tablo Dual HDMI and have it up and running. It's also working in NextPVR. I just need a guide for it. Since the Tablo has the guide in json format available directly from the box using HTML requests, a utility to retrieve and convert to xml would be great. Thanks

P.S. I used NextPVR (GBPVR) many years ago when my cable service used to transmit ClearQAM local channels over the cable, but had to quit using it when they encrypted them. I'm now in the process of "cutting the cord" and just using OTA TV and streaming. Bought the Tablo Dual HDMI box and was looking for a way to watch TV on my PC and remembered your program. Thanks to the maker of TabloTV, I'm now able to use it again.

I don't know if the HDMI version supports the same web socket commands but we shall see.
