Here's a quick recording from BBC One London HD just now.

Interestingly, this file plays back better in VLC than in the NPVR client.

In VLC, the video breaks up almost as much as in NPVR but (perhaps just to my eyes) a little less than in NPVR client.

In VLC, both audio tracks play back fine, but in NPVR neither track plays back.

The experience of playing this file in NPVR client is exactly the same as the experience of trying to watch live - breaking-up video and no audio.

That file is extremely corrupt. It might play better in players with better demuxers but I don't expect anything would make it watchable. If you have no splits there is not much you can do on the NextPVR side. The problem could even be over amplification, I would check how it works for others.
