I am having some issues finding BBC 4 HD which I believe now shares with cBeebies HD after some recent changes on Astra 2E/2G/2F. I downloaded the latest 28.2e ini from King of Sat but when I run scan the channel is not listed either by name or just the number. I was expecting to find it at 11024/8931. Attached a channel scan log too.

I'm having the same issue as yourself.

What I've noticed within NPVR is when in "Scan Channels" mode for 28.2E, when the scan reaches the frequency of 10818-V, the Symbol Rate within the 28.2 NPVR preset seems to be registered as 22000 (FEC3/4) but not the Symbol Rate of 23000 (FEC3/4) where the BBC HD bouquet has now moved to.

I did a double check after pressing "Save" after the scan, then scrolled down the channel list in the "Devices" to check the results to find there were no channels listed from the frequency of 10818-V.

I've looked within the user settings to try to manually insert the new information, or do a specific scan on the individual satellite frequency/symbol rate but drawn a blank.

If it's helpful to others, the new settings on Astra for BBC4 HD (and other channels in the same bouquet) are listed in the links below.

The tuning log file is attached, and any help or advice would be much appreciated  :-)

Ditto, I ended up using the update & all channels restored to their former glory, plus a few regionals to add to the mix!

I've tried retuning to get the new HD BBC channels but I'm finding BBC One London HD has a lot of visual break-up, and no sound (on either of the available audio streams in the NPVR client context menu).

Never had this trouble with BBC HD channels before this recent switchover. Can anyone suggest anything that could cause this, or is it simply likely to be a case of a poor signal on the new satellite frequency being used?

I use a satellite feed from a communal dish system on a large block of flats so it's rather beyond my control, but I can certainly try reporting it if that's what people think is behind this problem.

I have both DVB-S and DVB-T cards in my PC so worst case I guess I will just continue to 'enjoy' grainy local news until they switch over on Freeview as well as Freesat.

@bitoclass, do you have local splits in your house or just the one feed? Feel free to post a link to an external file an we can look at it to see if the file is the problem.

We have two feeds coming in from a communal satellite system (which serves a block of around 400 flats). I'm seeing the same issue on both my DVB-S tuners (one connected to each feed).

I'm sorry if this is a silly question but what kind of file would it be useful for me to link to? A recording of BBC One London HD, or some sort of NPVR data file?

Thanks very much!

Sorry I wasn't clearer, just create a short recording that shows the video issue that you are talking about and place the file on One Drive, Google Drive etc.
