Basic question

Hi all, just a simple question…I have NextPVR running on a RPi and feeding Emby which is running on a Windows server. When I stream through Emby once everything’s set up and configured properly, is it streaming from the source directly to my Emby app, or through the NextPVR first?

Sorry I know this is probably a basic question. The pi is on an always on VPN and the windows box isn’t, so I’m just wondering if the actual video is streaming through the vpn.

Embry clients don't touch the NextPVR server, so I would say no.

Thanks, but don’t they get the listings and channel list from NextPVR? I am using the NextPVR plugin available through Emby, by the way.

Embry duplicates everything in its database. Recordings in NextPVR are ignored.
