Cannot login

Hi. I have very recently installed this with a donation.
I have changed my login details but now it will accept my details.
I have emailed them for a link to amend my details but still have heard nothing back.
Can anybody help with this.

Hi martin , thanks for your response.
Got fed up and done a clean sweep and reinstalled it and i'm in now.
I'm using a DVB-T202 usb connection , augusttv the AE is crap can't get any channels.
I'll use a better one in my truck and hopefully get some channels..

Thanks we get a lot of chatbot messages and you never mentioned August TV so I didn't understand the post. I know their contact info is here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid577422

You aren't the first to note issues with their tuner though but maybe it uses an older version and current versions of NextPVR might work better.

I'm not sure who you emailed. NextPVR doesn't login via some internet server. It logs into your own server. (So there is no link that someone else can provide you to reset your password)

For future reference though, if you've forgotten your login, you can reset your login to "admin/password" by setting these values in the <WebServer> section of c:\users\public\NPVR-data\config.xml:

<Username>admin</Username>
<Password>5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99</Password>

Ah right.. Thanks again , shall look into it once i have a decent AEconnected to it.
On that note do nextpvr auto update there app or do you do it manually ? Didn't see update in any of there menu's.

No it will not auto update, but the web browser tells you when a new version is available.. You can also subscribe to the announcement thread and get an email.

As Martin said, the web server will show when there is a new version available.

To upgrade to a new version, just rerun http://nextpvr.com/NPVRSetup.exe. It'll update to the current version, and keep all your existing settings etc.
