The recommendation from Team Kodi has been to default to your broadcast format so 50 might be better than Auto. I saw a lot of things going on with DXVA which is why I thought you could try software decoding. Its seems to try and scale to different resolutions a few times. Really guidance and suggestions on that would be on the Kodi forum.
