usb ir blaster with pvr150 mce

Just wandering if a usb ir blaster would work with a pvr 150mce version? I heard the normal remote isnt the best in terms of quality so i bought the mce version only to find out gbpvr works well with the remote.Maybe the firefly using girder?Im kinda new any help guys i already got the 150 mce and this is the rest of my setup

ecs k7s5a- using onboard sound(planning on getting an nforce board)
120 gig harddrive
xfx geforce 4 mx440 video card with tv out
lite on dvd burner 842
pvr 150 mce tuner
any help with using a remote for this would be great and i dont want to exchange it for the retail version cause of a 15% restocking fee I only paid $60 for it so worse case sinerio i just buy another retail 150 just dont want to do that right now just upgraded my home pc and spent enough money

I have a 150 full version, I might be interested in a trade. I don't use the IR blaster after all, I use a serial cable and girder. Plus since the MVP came with the same remote, I don't need it either. I would like to get the tuner.

I can recommend the MCE2005 Remote. Please note that there is a 2004 and a 2005 version. I can only speak for the one I have, which is the 2005 version.

I have it set with GIRDER and the MCE2005 plugin and I have full functionality of both the remote and the IR blasters.
