Hi Folks...
I have been using nextpvr for quite a few years with a DVB-T tuner with great success - the old compro just keeps on going!
as i will soon be upgrading the machine, and the old card will be retired, i have started using the FTA IPTV channels to do the same thing...
Only it behaves like there is only a "single" tuner on that device....
what happens is - if the programs overlap, i get the first bit of the earlier scheduled recording, and it stops when the later recording starts...
I then end up with the first bit of one show, and the last bit of another...
with the hardware tuner - i get a warning if i overlap recordings on different TS streams (mux) ....so i cant actually screw that up (i can record as many channels on the same stream as i like)
With the IPTV streams - there is no such warning....so im not sure if the concept of a 'mux' applies...each channel seems to have its own .m3u url...
I'm just wondering if there is a setting i am missing, or if it is a limitation of the resources available to the IPTV device?
(or NPVR cant actually record simultaneous iptv streams)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
