Keeping users recording separate

Hi

I have NextPVR setup for remote access in Kodi and I share my freesat with my family.  Is it possible to keep each users recording separate from one another, so they only have access to their own recordings?

As far as I can tell there is no option for user accounts, but what about if I set up different login accounts for NextPVR, using the same sat-ip device and specifying different recording folders for each account?

No it is not possible using user accounts, I did have pvr.nextpvr on Kodi give a root view which breaks out the recording directories so you could turn off duplicate recording prevention and family could record their own shows with separate rules.

Note there are problems with multiple recording of the same show since unfortunately the resume location is based solely on the filename and not the folder it is in so would also have to restrict the recording resume location

It could be a headache to manage, maybe just get the a DVB-T tuner for their home and build their setup for their recordings. Kodi allows multiple servers and they can still use you server for stations that aren't available on DVB-T
