OK I thought you had your Sky Box at the TV since you had an Android box there too.

My main SkyQ box where the satellite cable comes into the house is by one of my TV's. I have 2 other TV's which have the Sky wireless mini boxes, although I have them connected to the network via ethernet cables. I also have Android boxes by all 3 TV's, all ethernet. None of these locations though are where my PC's are. They are all in my study, where there is no TV lol. As I did not want to run sat cable up to the study a splitter and sat-ip server seemed the ideal solution.

I was actually mistaken when I said the recording directory for NextPVR was on its own NVMe. On checking I have it set up to record to the same drive pool where I copy my files to for my Jellyfin Server, which causes the packet dropping and picture degradation. when I copy files across my network to this location it normally maxes out at just over 100MB/s. Once the files are copied I use some library management software to scrape and rename them. I then sync these new files to a backup server using freefilesync. This also normally syncs at over 100MB/s. Syncing/copying back off of the server does not cause any issues with the picture quality, so it does seem to be related to writing to the drive pool.

I can think of 2 things I can do to see if it fixes the problem. 1. turn off time shift (set live TV buffer to 0). 2. change the location of the TV buffer directory (currently on the C: drive) and the Recording directory (currently on the drive pool, where the copying to is causing the issues)

I will try this when I get home

Changed the location for buffer and recording to an NVMe drive not part of the drive pool and no more picture breakup when copying files over the network. I am still thinking of using a separate PC for my NextPVR server though to keep it separate from my Jellyfin server. So if I copy over the data folder will this maintain all my settings?
Cheers
