Time for upgrade

After a long time its time for a upgrade.
Our old system
2 Hauppauge 2 tuner cards
Silver Hauppauge IR remotes
2 1 tb drives
Win10
Nextpvr 4.1.0

The new system
1 Hauppauge 4 tuner card
2 SSD 1 tb drives
The new Nextpvr Version: 7.0.1.241229

What is the best way to move the old system to the new

There is no best way since there isn't a support upgrade. You can try to see if this works

- copy your v4 C:\Users\Public\Data folder to v7 C:\Users\Public\NPVR-Data (for icons art etc)

- when you scan your new turner if it give you the option to copy. If the copy is successful see if it tunes if so you are in luck otherwise you need to scan it and merge.
- delete you old h/w from device devices.
- copy all the other tuners.

Keeping recordings takes a bit more work if you change drives. If you use the same folder naming they should just work.
- if you intend to try and copy recording after the first run change this to true in config.xml
