1st time installation of NPVR. I'm currently testing to maybe transition from Hauppauge WinTV10.. I have 3 usb tuners attached to a windows 10 machine.
Whenever I schedule a new recording, (i've done about 5 so far) it always schedules it to start .18 seconds late. 9:30:18pm, 4:00:18pm etc.

I know I can pad the start to compensate, But why is it happening? There will be a few nights a week where all 3 tuners are recording & shows are back to back so I don't think I'll be able to pad accordingly.
I've tried syncing windows system time but it's still happening. Any ideas?

Not sure how to do that. Is there a FAQ here for attaching logs? When I download the logs there are 11 files. All 11 of them?

I am guessing this is coming from the OTA guide data

2024-10-12 13:32:22.493 [DEBUG][16] Doing EPG update from broadcast DVB/ATSC EPG

It actually is varying so not always 18 seconds. It is not late it is at the scheduled time

"startTime": 1728748825,
"startTime": 1728750618,

I know the ATSC guide data is not used often by NextPVR users but the logic is being revamped for the next version for those that don't need good quality. I am not seeing any of this values in my data but maybe it is something that is already addressed. Those last two digits should be zero.

So you're telling me I just have to live with it? It's ALWAYS scheduling .18 late. It's starts capturing .25 late after the tuners fire up & come on line. That was a completed recording time you were looking at.

Yes until the next release. If 18 seconds is so critical, and you won't want to use pre-padding subscribe to Schedules Direct.
