iOS Client EPG

Is there any way the EPG in the iOS client could be made to show "new" airings?  It would be so helpful to know when scheduling recordings, which are new airings, and which are reruns.  I'm using a Schedules Direct subscription to feed the guide and the web interface is so nice but the iOS guide does not translate this information.  Thank you.

It can't currently, but I do have a work-in-progress build which I'm intending to try submitting to apple in future. I'll try to add it.

The iOS client works so well otherwise. As, I'm sure you know, an iPhone can't play the recordings or channels from the web interface so to have the enhanced EPG with the ability to play channels and videos all in the app would be wonderful. Thank you for considering it.

I respectfully request that reliable playback and navigation of in progress recordings be given a high priority when you get back to the tvOS app.
