DB cleanup after disk failure, recordings lost

Hi all.

I've had a drive failure where I keep recordings. I'm going to replace it and recreate the same recording paths. (Replacement will be fault tolerant!)

What is the best way to prune these now orphaned recording entries from the DB? If I delete them from the NPVR web-UI, will they delete out of the DB even if the physical file(s) can no longer be located? Or is there another, better way?

By default if it is a fixed drive the recording table will clean itself, not need to do anything.
