Migrated to new server, now nextpvr cant find recordings

I moved Nextpvr to a new server along with the usb drive containing the recordings. Now nextpvr can't find the recordings. Iverified the path, nextpvr has ownership of the recordings folder and I verified the UID for the folder owner (nextpvr)  is correct . nextpvr still can't find the files.  I just noticed that the recording list is not updating when I delete a folder then restart the server. I deleted a hole folder for a series, restarted the server and the program is still in the recording list. It looks to me like nextpvr is looking in the wrong location, even though  the drive is mounted at the same point in the new system as it was on the old one. How can I fix that?

Are you 100% sure you haven't got a typo in the name/path of the drive mount point and directory?

I used sudo chown -R nextpvr:nextpvr /mnt
sudo chown -R 777 /mnt That's not a security issue since I am the only user and it is local only

I meant when typing the recordings directory name into the npvr settings.

On the subject of permissions, 'video'  requires group permissions this is mine...

The + also means special permissions - I think I used setfacl to properly create that directory (can't remember). Anyway, i think 'video' is all important.

I include a script to set the permissions /opt/nextpvr/shell/nextpvr-recording.sh

I expect that NextPVR sees the old tree as missing. Otherwise no logs no problems.

Gave up do to other issues and deleted the config file and started over. I think it might have been corrupted . Is there a way to get nextpvr to see the old recordings on the drive? They're in the current record folder.

Yes but the quality depends on how you recorded them originally. Read up about NextTool on the wiki and forum.

If you have the option I recommend to store the metadata with the file you will get all the details otherwise you will only get the filename based information.
