My LibreElec NextPVR server seems to be working as normal and has done for over a year. I do very occasionally get a blank recording.
The problem seems to have started or at least noticed when channel Quest stopped working working overnight some weeks ago. For some reason the Irish version is called Quest HD but the UK HD version Quest. That was when I found no DVB-S channels were detected when I tried to scan for Quest. My temporary work around is to use the DVB-T SD version of Quest.
After a reboot I have just scanned using the  supplied 28.2 file and my smaller regional 28.2West file. I used SAT>IP tuners 2,3 & 4 in turn and no channels detected!
The problem also is that I cannot watch live TV if a DVB-S channel is being recorded!
I can record 2 DVB-S channels at the same time.
I can record DVB-S and DVB-T channel at the same time.
The first Log file was while I tried to watch TV while a DVB-S channel was being recorded. The later log file shows later tests of DVB-T & DVB-S channels so the earlier log may not be needed!

Chris

As I noted to you earlier DVB-S scanning is broken on 7.0.5 so you need a patch https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid607140

7.0.5 for LE will be upgraded with the patch sometime this week

Since you are using /tmp for Live TV I would caution you on how much data can be stored on it. This is very small on LE under 2MB so you need to move to a real file system.

Sorry Martin but I missed your reply for some reason. I have to admit that I retired about 15 years ago so my memory is sometimes not as good as it was!!
To check the problem out I recently built a clean install on an old PC and that had the same problem not finding channels on a SAT>IP tuner scan.

On my recently installed test server I copied the NShared.dll file to the LibreElec location /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.nextpvr/config. I am not certain but I think at reboot NShared.dll was copied to the "media" sub directory. After a reboot the test server scan now found channels.
Unfortunately doing the same thing on my main server made no difference and a scan found no channels. However its still recording everything it should be recording so will perhaps wait for the release of the latest version!

On the subject of /tmp location! The LibreElec System Info for Storage only lists /dev/sda1 for /flash and /dev/sda2 as /storage. On my main server /storage uses 0% of 900Mb. /tmp on the root file system on LibreElec  has three subdirectories. What is the best way to move it to the unused /storage area??

For one thing you aren't copying NShared.dll to the correct folder. I don't know where those logs are from so I can't don't now how to direct you for your main server. I've already explained in another post how to upgrade your test server.

I you have 900MB on /storage either create a new folder on storage or using one of the existing folders.

I've been retired for 10 years myself.
