Plugin for streaming video

A plugin for streaming video would be great.
So I could watch some of the foreign television shows available online, .asf files (.wmv).

maybe it can already be done?
any ideas?

ive been looking around for this for a while, i just found shoutcast tv, which hopefully sub could look at using, since hes already got normal shoutcast feeds going.
