Thanks to Sub! I have manually created an XLM file with infor for .mpgs not in GBPVR. They imported fine, and show up in the database.
Also, other recordings kicked off after I did that, and I use comskip helper, and renamerecordings. The both correctly processed the files I added manually. I put in a subtitle for the heck of it on a .mpg I had, and it renamed the file to the subtitle. I didn't want it to, but it worked exactly as it should, I just didn't thinkn enough ahead.
So it is a great way to both backup and restore your database, and to manually add new files into GBPVR.
Plus I am also manually changing the subtitle name in the database before a show records with the episode number and title, and after it is done, rename recordings is changing it to what "I" want.
I'm in PVR heaven.
