blank screen when watching recordings

hi,

I have just installed ver 0.19 on a friends shuttle pc.

which uses an NVidia nForce2 IGP chipset and an AMD processor (XP 2500+)

if I try and watch a recording on the pc all I get is a quick flash of the picture at the start then a blank screen whilst the sound plays

but if I just drag the screen silghtly with the mouse it then plays perfectly anyone any ideas what the problem might be.
