I switched from PVRPowerTray to ParaLED due to stability issues and ParaLED works fine. The only complaint I have is every time I change channels or watch a show from the guide it pops up a MS-DOS window to run RecordingStatus.bat. It disappears after half a second or so, but it's annoying. I've added '@echo off' to the batch file, but is there a way to make the window not show up in the first place?
I know there used to be an option to 'run minimized' but I can't find that. I'm running XP Pro SP2.
Thanks

that's something beyond my control, since the recordingstatus.bat file is called from the GBPVRTray-Application.

so sub would have to take care that the batch file is started minimized.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

So the quick pop-up is normal behavior for this plugin that everyone experiences? If that's the case it's not a huge deal, I was just hoping there was an easy way to get rid of it.

Edit: I did a bit of research on running it minimized and it would work if the program calls a shortcut to the batch file. The shortcut has the option to run minimized or you can set it to run in a 1x1 window. There's no easy way to that to the batch file itself that I could find.

Have you tried it in the new release?

Not yet. I was waiting to see if there would be an afternoon release this time around before I jumped on the new release. Big Grin
Edit: Bit the bullet and installed 94.12 and it works great. No more annoying black box.
