I purchased a 500MCE and took out my PVR350 but first, I uninstalled the 350 and ran the HWCLEAR to remove all instances of my old card. Put in the new card and installed the drivers.
When I went to config GB-PVR, I was not able to connect to the internet. I noticed my NIC light was orange and not green and many calls to Dell and diagnostics turn up nothing.
One strange thing was the error I get says my PCI Epress is not working but my NIC is on the motherboard. Is it at all possible that something in the drivers caused a problem like this? I'm totally confused at this point.
Thanks

Could be a hardware interrupt conflict. Is your PC set up for plug and play interrupt assignments or manual? I believe with two tuners in the PVR500, you'll be using a two separate interrupts, which could've snagged the one your NIC is expecting to be free.

GBPVR system info intentionally left blank because I'm personally
insulted that you can't remember it from previous signatures.

Chris, thanks for the reply.
I'm not really sure how to tell about the interrupts but will look in device manager to see.
I did remove the card and all the software and still have no luck and am getting the same error.
Nothing I do makes the NIC work. I'm thinking it's a hardware problem but Dell ain't budging yet. I wish I had a nic card to test it out in a spare bay.
Thanks again for your help.

Oh, I should also say that I put an older image back on to see if that would correct it and it didn't.

I hope you didn't fry a component with static electricity when you opened the case to swap the cards :|
You can probably find a cheapo NIC card at walmart for $10 now, I guess....
