Question to reoccuring recordings

Hi,

i have the following scenario :

i want to record

Stargate every Wednesday on Channel 1
Keep 2 recordings

and

Stargate every Saturday on Channel 2
Keep all recordings


Both have exactly the same Name in the EPG, so the MPG files are in the
same directory ...

What happens when he records the 3rd Stargate on Channel 1 ? Is he only
deleting the oldest record from channel 1 or the oldest overall ?

It should be ok. You should end up all the recordings from channel 2, and a maximum of two from channel 1. It does it based on the group id in the database, rather than number of files in the directory.
