xRecord / Scheduler update problem

I have a simple problem. For some reason I can not change the info in the priority schedule.

I select xRecord/Scheduler/ Select a show (around the 35th item or so) Pick update and try to change it from "This chanel, this time" to "ALL" and turn keep duplicates off and pick save.

Now I can go back in/ Exit to the main menu and go back in/ reboot the computer and go back in but it does not change. It still wants to specify a chanel.

What should I do?

Which show are you having problems with? Or is it happening on any show that you try to edit and change from having a specified channel to one to just searching for all channels.

A temporary work around would be to find the <Channel> tag on the recording that you want to change to schedule regardless of channel and delete the <Channel>#</Channel> tag for that particular recording.

Back up your PriorityRecordings.xml file first though.

I looked at your file, and without knowing which show you are having problems with it looks like everything is fine.

I am having this trouble with any/All changes that I make.

I have been going in manual and changing the .xml file but that's a real pain since the computer does not have a keyboard/mouse or monitor.

Also, Just to be clear. It's not just the chanel. trying to remove time/date limits, or removing the RecordDuplicate flag also have the same problem.

Is there something I can to so I will save from the remote without having to shutdown GBPVR and edit the .xml file manualy? The xRecord/Schedule/Update menu option looks like it should work from the remote. It goes though the motions, It just does't save it even though I select more/save

Can you provide a before and after snapshot of the PriorityRecording.xml?

I attached the PriorityRecording.xml as the first reply since I forgot to attach it in the first place. It was way to large to take screen shots.

The before and after are the same. with the exception of using the Yellow key to move the priorities up and down. That does change the PriorityRecording.xml file. Nothing else I've tried does.

Try the new version of XRecord v.43. This should fix the saving bug.
