2 things I'd love for GBPVR to do.
1) When skipping forward, if there's less time remaining than the amount the skip is set for, it would be nice for it to skip to the end.
For example, often I'll start watching a program after it started recording for 10 minutes or so. At some point, I'll catch up to the end of the program during a commercial break. I have my forward skip set to 30 seconds, but say there's 25 seconds from the current point to the end, I can't catch all the way up without jumping back a bit first.
2) A time setting (beginning/end) to determine whether a record is written into the PLAYBACK_POSITION table.
For example, I'll sometimes enter a recording or avi for only a second or two. It would be nice to only have the resume prompt if I've been watching for at least a minute (or some configurable time). Additionally, it would be nice if it didn't write the record if I jumped out of the program in the last five minutes of the program.
I opened up the table yesterday and noticed I had almost 500 records with almost all set to the very beginning or the end of a program. After deleting the records, entering and exiting a recording or avi seemed to speed up a bit.
