HDHomerun/NextPVR/LiveTV problem

I have troubles getting NextPVR to show liveTV.

I'm running Win 7 Home Premuim 32 bit and a HDHomerun (Dual tuner) latest firmware and software.

I have opened the firewall for the PVR programs.

I have made a scan on all devices in the nPVR Settings/Devices. I got 100+ channels on all DVB-T, DVB-C and HDHR. I tried different Video Renderer and Decoder settings. For the moment I have EVR and Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder.

Selecting the Live TV option in the main menu gives me a Please wait for 10 sec and then a black window. After maybe a minute I mostly get this message:
The tuner you were using was required for a recording. Would you like to switch to watching a recording, or exit back to the menu?
or
Unable to find capture device (only one time)

When entering the LiveTV, the nPVR icon in the system tray turn red.

I'm able to watch LiveTV in WMC but I think WMC is pretty annoying and want to switch to NextPVR/XBMC. In WMC I made it work by doing the scanning like I have antenna but in fact I have cable tv. I think this is due to different standards in US and the in Denmark (Yousee).

I can also watch LiveTV from the HDHomerun QuickView.

can you post a full set of logs? Also make sure you run the HDHomeRun Setup and select NextPVR as the application.

In the Windows Firewall NextPVR and NRecord was allowed to pass, but I found that I also needed to add NDigitalHost.exe as well.

So now it's working:O)

I've got the same problem on a brand new install on new computer, and in my case, the 3 files are noted as firewall exceptions. The installation went very well, and HDHomeRun tuners could be seen, channels loaded and config with schedules direct. WMC operates normally, showing live and recording shows. With NextPVR

1. Watching Live TV, I only get a black screen no sound, however data is moving, presumably from the tuner.
   
2. If I put a show on the recording schedule, nothing happens, as if the tuner is not sending data to this computer
   

Logs attached, if anyone can help diagnose what is happening.

1 sounds like a decoder thing. Have you tried a download of AC3filter?

2 may be because of ...

Unexpected error in GetTargetName: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'V:\Recordings\Late Night With Jimmy Fallon\'.

Does drive V: exist on this machine? Are permissions okay? Good Luck.

Is v:\ a mapped network drive? Remember, the recording service runs as a different account, so it wont see drive mappings you've made under your account.

well V:\ is a mapped drive, so that was the issue for both items, works now. Thanks!
