Disclaimer : I just discovered GBPVR about a week ago and just happened to stumble onto the page for this plugin because of your posts mentioned a AIW Radeon. I really don't know what I'm doing and everything I'm telling you might not be the best way or even the right way to do everything.
My problem with audio not playing was a codec problem, I installed FFDShow and it now works with no problems.
topperdude:
which AIW Radeon do you have? Mine is the original Radeon (no numbers after the model name). I'm not sure if later models have the same hardware on them as mine.
As soon the tuner device starts, it starts sending audio on the line out cable. To watch live tv, you need to be hearing this audio as soon as it hits your sound card. The input on the soundcard must be unmuted in windows playback (not recording) options for live TV. Plug a microphone into the port where you currently have your AIW line out going to and test it out, as soon as you talk into it, you should hear it coming through your speakers, even without any other programs running. If you don't hear anything, then your settings in volume control are wrong and the input you need is muted or turned all the way down.
Try that and see if you can get audio. However, once you get it working for live tv, you're going to have to go back and mute the live audio. Since the AIW is outputting audio any time that the tuner is open, if you try to timeshift , you're going to hear both the delayed timeshifted audio of the recording and the live audio coming from the AIW playing directly through your soundcard. I haven't found a way to automatically mute the live audio when not watching live tv, so on the Misc tab in GBPVR's config, i unchecked "Use Live Preview if possible" and muted the input in playback options. My Live TV in GBPVR is always timeshifted and I'm always getting the audio from just the recording.
1) Is there any way to save the Filter Properties with the graph? For example, if I right click on the ATI Video Encoder filter and goto Filter Properties , I can set the bitrate and quality settings for it. However, if I close graphedit or use the graph in GBPVR it just uses the default settings. I can't figure out how to set a high/med/low recording graph since it always defaults to the same settings.
2) This is more of a pet peeve than a bug in your program, but the tab order on the form is all over the place. I tried to paste the same graph into every box, and the cursor jumped all over when trying to tab between them.
