I'm trying out Web Radio on a laptop client. Logs indicate a problem with rendering the URL. I put the URL into graphedit and it rendered and played fine. I must be missing something simple, or maybe I'm just getting too old for all this...

This is known to happen if you use any plugins which use the WMP libraries. CDRipper/ML2 use these, and it interferes with directshows ability to render web radio streams. There is a work around for it in the next release.

Ah - catch 22 then... if I strip out all my plugins, Web Radio works fine - if I put just MLPanel back in, Web Radio can't do the render (I'm not aware of using any WMP libs - it's possibly because I'm using Psycik's Interfaces.dll?).

So I can't test it to find out why WR breaks MLP (as reported by a tester) and even if I could stop it breaking, WR then wouldn't work anyway...

When is the next release due again...Big Grin

actcms, yes it was probably interfaces.dll since that had, as one of it's readers, the WindowsMediaPlayer class.

Thanks psycik, I can safely put that one to bed for the time being.
