thanks Sub - Family movie time now - I'll get onto it tonight though. In terms of network performance I can copy a TS file from the TV server to the client and it runs at about 110MB (Megabyte not bit) per second so I'm getting full Gigabit bandwidth to the NUC.
I'll so that setting and get you the logs. Client server is bloody good as it means I just have a tiny NUC in the lounge rather than a huge beast - I have 3 hard drives and 4 Tuner cards in my pc so having that all in the lounge was bulky and the fan noise drove me insane - The NUC is awesome.
