New Tool: ShowBurner DVD Burning [with menus]

did you manually create the output dir? it has to actually exist before it will make the dvd as well...[fixed in next version] [only creates the video_ts dir itself] [incidentally,it can be anything/anywhere you wish]
can you look at the command line window to see what it's doing?
let me know what you see..

I can get the DVD to create fine now. It's just when I transcode each file, the transcoding window stays up forever. If I window mode GBPVR and then transcode a file (Add to DVD), I can see a batch file flash up for a second and then disappear. So I know it is working, but for some reason the transcoding screen stays up. So I click on Exit and exit right out of GBPVR. Then I go back in and transcode (Add to DVD) the next file and so on until I am ready to burn the DVD. The burn process goes through and it does make the disc. I do notice though that sometimes the last episode isn't included on the disc.

ahh,almost there..you can hit 'stop' on the transcode dialog and it will let you continue with gbpvr..
and the last one might not make it because i have it filter out movies that won't fit on the disc...but this number might need adjustment..
look in the durndvd.bat file for :test at the bottom and this line..
"if %totsize% GTR 4700000 ( "
and adjust the 4700000 for a slightly higher number..
[4.7gigs] it may take as large as 4900000 and still fit...not sure what numbering system they use for that so trial and error..[Bytes? Megabits? MegaBytes?]

to fix the dialog error,make sure it's going to a valid label from the :add section end.. [usually :eof or :end if it's at the bottom]

oh i know about it now...not sure why but working on it..only in newest release..97.8 worked fine...
burning one now...
works for compression for me..just the ones where no file is created don't..
[may also be something to do with extensions..]
can't be too big..i'll let ya know..

turns out he rewrote the video library and it has a tiny bug with the progress box so it should be fixed in the next release..
till then will just have to exit gbpvr or do it command-line mode..
hopfully the new version will be out soon..i'll see if i can't fix it in this version
anyways too...

works all the way up to 97.09 for sure tho...

You can still use the old video library by setting <UseNewStyleRecordInLiveTv>false</UseNewStyleRecordInLiveTv> in config.xml

hmmm,it already was set to false...even tried true and no difference...
something odd going on, cuz still works great under .97.9

so...after a bit of investigation it turns out to be just the stopping of ffmpeg isn't stopping the dialog...but that is fixed for next version [of GPBVR]..
till then if needing to use with GBPVR 97.13, just add a 'pause' at end of :add and :delete sections and it will allow you to 'stop' it normally..
or just wait for new version to come out..
if anybody has problems, just let me know..

i just got comskip -> chapters working so you can skip commercials on dvds!
new menu is in the works too with changable backgrounds..
[1 menu page per movie with full descriptions, titles etc..]
which will allow unlimited movie adding and show better info on menu with bigger thumbnail..
