Folks,
Here version three of my channel logo tool :-
This tool is designed to download the Channel Logo Icons and match the logos with the channel names in your GBPVR Database and then publish them to the Media/ChannelLogos folder. Once some Logos had been matched with Channels, the tool allows you to examine your current logos against the new logos you have downloaded.
Tutorial :-
Start CLT
Select your Icon source (I suggest LyngSat website) (it takes a minute to download the website)
Select your country (again it takes a minute to dowload the graphics from the site)
Select a temporary folder for the downloaded icons
Select Preprocessing (this attempts to match the icons to the channel names)
On the Logo Matching, Select the channel and the matching logos for the channel will be displayed, the first is the temp downloaded source, the second is the GBPVR Logos.
Match up your logos and when your done press Export.
Changes : v3.40
I've add a Microsoft prerequisits install, which you need to run before you run CLT for the first time.
I've also added :-
Support for JPG and all other images file formates
OpenFileDiaglog now opens with thumbnails pre selected
Added Progress bar down image download
Converted to .NET 2.0 browser support (hence the need for the prerequisits file)
You can download it here:- http://www.systemshark.com/channellogotool_v3.40.zip
Changes : 3.20
Added support for SQLite, - Thanks to Martynw for spotting this...
Upgraded to .NET 2
Database selection from config.xml
Fixed bmp download bug in with IE control.
Changes : 3.01
I've fixed the errors that ShinningDragon reported - Thanks very much
Changes : v3.0
More Fixes to add stability etc,
Added support for currently installed logos in the GBPVR directory
Otherwise :-
it's all yours
and Please provide feedback.
