Post your config*.log after performing an epg update in Config

I will certainly be trying this out, but running it manually will not work for me. Once it is able to be batch-run after the EPG update I will be loading it up!

The last version I posted runs from command line. Details in the thread

I attempted to run this over the weekend (Uk Radio Times EPG). It appeared to run successfully and when I viewed the xml in NotePad it looked fine. However when I imported the new EPG into GBPVR, I ended up with a completely empty EPG. When I switched back to the 'unalterred' xml, the EPG reappeared as it had done previously.

I don't know if any logs would be helpful here?

The Enhancer doesn't do much for logging just yet. I'm sorry it will be a couple of weeks before I can process this. As said, -oz- has the source and he might be able to help.

Something has happened and I will be several days away from looking at my computer and the source. (I haven't lost the source, it's backed up in a million places)

-OZ-, maybe you can handle this one? It would give you a chance to see the insides of the enhancer. If you wouldn't mind getting his file and opening it in the VB6 dev. It's probably a simple line parsing error. I can see my source in text editor, just not the dev for a while... If you find the bug but can't figure what do do, just send off the snippet to me, and I'll see what needs to be done... Thanks

Hi I'm now using yapi2xml and I get a run-time error "9": Subscript out of range.

Let me know if you want me to send you the whole yapi.xml file . it is 60megs but only 3 megs rar'd so I could easily email it to you.

I've PMd you and would love to look at a data file to test.

I have noticed two problems with the current enhancer.

If you select to have the 'Ratings' appended to the Description, you may get the subscript error. If you select Add Category, it works.

Also, and this doesn't have to do with the Yapi app, but when downloading schedules direct with xmltv.exe the New Show Marker doesn't work.

I know how to fix both these issues and will get to it shortly...

Hey it says you're in Canada, yet you're using the yapi app. How are you getting listings?

Anyway, thanks for the yapi file. As suspected, the subscript error 9 comes from when you select 'Add Category' for Ratings. 'Append to Desc' is fine. I will be fixing this...

I'll mention again. Within a couple of days I will updating the program to have new show markers for yapi and Schedules Direct

I noticed your posts in the other threads. It would be my suggestion that once the enhancer is finished, you disable new show markers in the Yapi app.

I will also be asking for further suggestions to add optional formatting of the data...

In other words, what tag are you finding that clues you it's a new show?

Can you send me a sample file WITHOUT any Yapi app enhancement?

If I remember correctly, Oz and I both did a simple check of the air date against the original air date. If there was less than a weeks difference, we added the marker. There may have been a new or repeat flag, but I don't think we relied on it. I could be wrong and I don't have my code in front of me.
