You logged into my machine and tried various different debug versions of tsreader but the result was the same when using graphedit just a blank screen. actually the video stops playing almost immediately aswell. With gbpvr it used to play with audio only, but now its stops immediately aswell.

I think you checked versions of mpeg2decoder, tsreader and coreavc and verified you were using the same. The other main difference I guess is that you are using vista and probably a different video card.

I might download ffdshow for both video/audio and try it... but I am not too hopeful!

It video file itself is fine as it will play in grpahedit if I use other filters like haali or play it with vlc.

Oh ok, I remember now.

If you're able to open up VNC again, I'll take another look.

Hi Sub,

I tried again on the real pvr machine, but playing the sample file through graphedit was the same. Black screen and file stops playing.
Playing thru gbpvr resulted in audio only, could fast fwd and sometimes get video but it would freeze after a second or so. Time line always started 50seconds form beginning.

Sorry, I dont really know what to suggest. Its funny that only you seem to have these specific set of problems... and very oddly, on two machines.

Not sure if I mentioned this earlier, but this is only a problem with mpeg4 SD channels. mpeg2 sd ts recordings playback fine with gbpvr.

Don't know if this will help but I had blank screen issues with playback on install of 1.3.7 when I had no such issues with 1.2.13. It was resolved with the install of 'All in 1 codec pack V6.0.3.0' or Klite full codec pack latest version. I think the All in 1 pack cured the blank screen.
