folders never were able to bring up the info screen, i assume most people move recorded movies out of the folders created by gbpvr and put them into a different folder, eg D:\my videos\films. im undecided if i should change this.

what where you upgrading from? what are these folders you cant open? the info screen only is shown if an entry in the database exists for that file.

Again, this would be for movies. I can see for shows it woulnd't make sense, since it would be many shows to one folder. For movies, you're only going to have one per folder.

Again, it just seems like you did everything but, since you made it so easy to get all movie info attached to folder. I'm sure you're right it never did. It just seems logical enough, w/ everything else it does.

the info for folders was always suppose to be for tv shows, but could also be used with movies, but wasnt planned this way (just no way around it). chances are i wont add it for folders, just because of "play", if sub adds the ability for playlists, ill consider adding it, and play with play ever file in the selected folder.

can you give me the exact filename, so i can reproduce the problem and fix it (if it crashes on my machine gbpvr tells me the exact line of code which causes the problem, very handy when trying to fix a bug).

Hey man, that's UTF-8 encoding displayed as non-UTF8. Really nasty stuff. I just renamed the file, so it is no show-stopper. However, I think something like this shouldn't cause a crash.
