Still can't get this to work. The time increases as I let play past the original recording length but as soon as I try to skip it jumps back to the original recording length. Maybe it is an Android problem?

Depends, there is a bug in alpha8 that forces http mode. You also need to skip 8 seconds prior to the displayed time so you might need to use number keys if you run right up to the end. Perhaps in Krypton Android the buffer seconds is longer.
