saintalan Wrote:Thanks Reven. I just managed to map the Yellow & Blue keys to Page up/down as they were in v2. So its a bit of trial and error really, but thats no problem.

I assume that the items in the mymusic.xml are the only ones you use and that they are NOT used OR OVERRIDE the GBPVR seetings? Is that right?

Where are they mapped?

Cheers, Alan
yeah the mymusic.xml file doesnt override anything, mymusic just looks in that file for the keymappings and gbpvr ignores it completely.

at System.Data.OleDb.OleDbConnection.Open()
at MyMusicDBLoader.Class1.UpdateAlbumDurations() in c:\xmltv\mymusicdbloader\
class1.cs:line 294
Scan complete

database is 138MB

[edit - sooooory - getting Gb and MB mixed up]

Upon starting gbpvr.exe, mem usage goes up to 320MB and then drops back to 55MB. However, the commit charge figure has risen from 250MB to 785MB which is too high as I only have 512MB in the box.

[edit] if I rename/remove MyMusic.db, the commit chareg figure returns to 292MB

I know my collection is rather large (oh er misses) but should this plugin be able to cope?

thanks

John

Reven thanks, didn't mean to interrupt your singingSmile ( a man after my own heart!)

Just to be clear are you saying if you map a key that GBPVR also maps, who wins?

when you're in a plugin that plugin has first rights to the keypresses, if it doesnt find a match gbpvr will then try and find a match and process the keyevent, common example would be with the F keys, eg Guide = F1, a plugin will most likely ignore this.

so if my music finds a match gbpvr will never get the chance to process the keyevent, that means you can map say "Next View" to F1 and gbpvr will no longer jump to the guide when you're inside my music (will work normally outside my music).

so my music would win Smile

just an update, ive readded filelist to my music 3, so heres the available sorting modes now (in this order)
1. Artists
2. Albums
3. Genres
4. Top 100
5. Files (like how my music 2 did it).

when you start my music 3 it remembers the last sorting mode used and starts in that mode (so you can set it to default start in mode 5, files).

Where do we get the new update?
EDIT: didn't understand how the top 100 worked. How are those 100 picked?
