Released new version
04/10/07 : 0.4.8
* Look for program images in art/ directory for XRecord images
* Add ability to save (and delete) search profiles (Filter dialog)
* Add ability to retrieve search profile from SearchWiz main dialog

I tried to make saving and retrieving search 'profiles' as easy as possible.

When in the set Filter dialog, there is now a SaveAs button which allows you the save the current settings in the config under a name you choose.

You can select a named profile from either the SearchWiz main dialog (Load Filter), or from the Filter Dialog (Load button).

I've included skins for Blue and Community.

Enjoy...

I also still have the problem of the show image appears and disappears really fast.
I added code to look in directory that XRecord loads images as well as the media/art directory. This may fix the image disappearing... Let me know...

As far as image not showing in XRecord, SearchWiz does NOT retrieve image from internet, it only shows image if it exists in either art or media/art sub-directory. I use ProgramImageTool to retrieve images from the internet AFTER recording, you might give that a try.

It looks good but I don't see how I recall a filter setting. The options are delete and cancel. Shouldn't there be some sort of load?

EDIT: Also I can't get it to save more than one filter now. When I edit a filter and "save as" it overwrites the existing filter.

Good work, you're a stud!

Where was it looking for images before this version? Another question is the scheduler, it creates manuals recordings and puts them in f:\Manual Recordings (f:\ is my pvr dir). The file it created was "The Shield =_20070403220000.mpg". Any way to put them in "f:\The Shield ="? This is what GB-PVR does when I use it to create recordings, creates a dir for each show and puts the mpg file there. I have " =" at the end because of XMLTV, which I told to use = as the new show designator.

Argh, last minute bug. 2 of them.

1) You should be able to position on the list and hit enter (or dbl-click) to load the selected filter

2) Save as overwritting wrong entry.

Working on these now, will have a new version shortly.

Ok, uploaded version 0.4.10.

Should now
- Save filters as named.
- Enter (or 2nd click) will loaded selected named filter.

(See above comment-2nd bullet) I could add another button for the load, but I was trying to keep the UI clean. Let me know if this is confusing once you've used it for awhile. If so, I will add a Load button.

It was looking in media/art. This is where the ProgramImageTool saves the images (That is the tool I use).

If in the GBPVR config program, Misc tab, you have the 'Auto-create folders when recording' selected, GBPVR should create a directory for the Show. All episodes for that show should end up in that directory. For example, I record 'Lost'. Each week a new episode ends up in g:\PVR\Lost directory.

I have the same image files in both the art and media\art dirs. I have 'Auto-create folders when recording' checked. It still created a Manual Recordings folder for a show that I selected to record through Search Wizard. Are there other tests I can perform to help figure this out?

The show image gets displayed now! However, if I select any other button e.g. Help, then dismiss the dialog, the show image goes away but the show info is still displayed in the bottom box. If I click on a different show, then back on the one that originally displayed the image, the image isn't drawn again. It seems that the show image can only be displayed once, even if I click Clear then do the search again. If I exit Search Wizard then select it again from the main menu, then do the same search, the image isn't displayed.

The version is displayed in the lower right corner, but goes away really fast without me pressing any buttons.

The set filter name is displayed near the top left corner of the keyboard input screen.

Wakalaka, I can't seem to recreate your problems.
- What skin are you using?
- Could you schedule a show thru SearchWiz, and another thru means that work? Send me the db, and I will compare the entries.
- Are you running this on your PC, or on TV via MVP?

Using Basic skin.
Will do tonight.
Running on a PC.

I was testing settings recordings today and tried out a Daily In This Timeslot reoccuring recording for a show X. X starts at 4pm and ends at 4:30pm. X also is on from 4:30pm to 5pm. I would expect a Daily In This Timeslot for show X at 4pm to set a recording for Monday through Sunday starting at 4pm and ending at 4:30pm. It did this, but it created a second reoccuring recording for show X from 4:30pm to 5pm. Will email you my GBPVR.DB3 file tonight. FYI GB-PVR does the same thing when setting a reoccurring recording.

See this thread for answer.

However, when I manually deleted the Pending recordings for 4:30pm to 5pm, I still couldn't set a Daily In This Timeslot recording for the show.

Wow, really like the new features and that I can save searches I look for all the time. Nice and clean storing the searches in config.xml Thank you!
