Hey sub

I have re-enabled VNC to my pvr with freesat turners if you want to have a play

I have also noticed they do change the channels about a fair bit as well, so I think having it dynamic is the way forward

I wasn't aware that was possible. Any know how I dynamically find it?

The frequency actually changed very slightly to 11425 Mhz but I think most receivers didn't notice the change.

After we originally sorted the Freesat EPG problems some time back I've had a stable OTA EPG up till the satellite change. Now the EPG is unreliable and frequently loses data. Refreshing the EPG fills in some gaps but creates new ones. I suspect the frequency is far enough away from the hard coded one that it's on the edge of the reception range.

The sooner Sub is able to move the frequency to a config file variable so we can adjust it the better for me as I'm getting grief from the other half because we're losing recordings due to the erratic EPG.

No idea yet, I only notice when I go to watch a channel and it no longer works.
Am thinking a weekly scan an re allocate process might be needed, looking for the original Channel ID (4 digit number on FreeSat)

I have installed 3.5.7, can someone please explain how to get the Freesat EPG working again.

Bobins indicated it was working for him. The only thing that changed was the frequency.

ok have updated to latest version today

It still does not appear to be getting the freesat epg. I can see it using the updated frequency, but it does not appear to actually check the dvd-s tuners
