Amazon has it's own version of Exoplayer too. As for setting up Kodi, that is a hell of lot easier then trying to sideload Google Play and finding out if the h/w player even supports Direct Play with your streams.

The new Android TV update for the Mi S Box has cause an button issue with the Next PVR paid app. After selecting a program from the guide menu,  you can no longer press the "watch", "record once", or "record series" buttons. They were working before the upgrade

I have include screenshots 

Please fix. Please help

Also having issues on my Shield after the last update.

There is no cursor to show what you are about to select? It has completely disappeared.

Is there any update on this? Can you rollback the Android TV app because this is now currently unusable? You cannot see what you are going to select...

A new build is up on the Play Store, which will hopefully resolve your issue.

Thanks for the new build.  It seems to have fixed it on my Sony TV (android 8), but still the same problem on my Mi TV stick (android 9).

I have uninstalled, cleared data and re-installed the new version, but when selecting a program in the guide I can't select any of the 3 options (watch, record once, record series).  On the Sony TV a black highlighted box appears which can be moved between the 3.

Just FYI only, new update works perfectly on my Android 10 device. I can see all three selections clearly.
