awesome plugin! this is exactly what i was looking for, particularly when recording sports events. before, u couldn't search for a team (i.e. lakers), u had to type "basketball" first.

one problem i noticed is that if u type in a word, and it generates more than one airdate, when u click on each date, the descriptions of the show doesn't change...it's locked on the first show that u clicked on. if u use the up/down arrows, then the description changes. anyone know what i'm talking about?

bug fixed. thanks.

one thing i also noticed is taht for some reason, when i restart gbpvr and try to search for a new program, it automatically enters the name of a prior search. i think the first time i ran program, i searched for 'spurs'...now when i start to type anything, 'spurs' automically gets inserted.

edit: maybe my 2.2ghz celeron / 384mb ram computer is slow, but there seems to be quite a lag between clicking on a show that came up from search in right column and having descriptions on bottom. this happens itermittently... but there's no lag when using the up/down arrows or the scrollwheel on mouse..just when u try to click. i.e. search for a show w/ multiple episodes at multiple times. after u start clicking on the first row, then the second...by the time u reach third row, the clicks don't work anymore...but scrollwheel/arrows do.

Does your 'Default' Filter (Filter0 in config.xml) contain 'spurs' in the Criteria: setting? If so, that is why it defaults.

I'll take a look at the log file and see if there is a problem with the click logic, I've also noticed there are times when GBPVR seems to 'lock-up' or run very slow when clicking around, I thought it was just my machine.

I set a reoccurring recording for 3 different shows today using GB-PVR, Search Wizard, and XRecord. None of them created the Manual Recordings folder and put the mpg file named after the show. All of them created a folder named after the show, and an mpg file named after the show. Don't know what has changed on my system other than new versions of Search Wizard. I never use the Manual Recording button in GB-PVR and XRecord, so it can't be from that. Oh well, if the problem comes back I'll investigate again.

Still have the problem of the show icon disappearing really fast.

How do you delete letters when you're typing in a name when saving a filter?

I think this plugin is great, it's really shaping up to be extremely useful.

This one is really weird, I can't seem to recreate, I have had no other report of this happening.

I missed putting in the logic for that. I will add it tonight. You will press the 'Back/Exit' button.

Thanks. I appreciate all the time you've spent helping me debug and providing many useful ideas.

Could it have something to do with image dimensions? Will email them to you.

why is entering/deleting text (i.e. w/ a backspace instead of alt+c) slow even when using a keyboard? i.e. it's like the characters start trickling in when u start entering them or deleting. (imagine ur cpu is at 100% and u're trying to type; but cpu is actually NOT at 100%). is algorithm searching even before u press enter?

This was due to a bunch of debug code I had left in when trying to fix a prior bug. Logging cleaned up, you should see a significant improvement in response time.

Use exit/back button to erase last character(s) entered. When buffer is empty, button acts as escape.

i dunno if it made any difference.. there's still a lag between hitting the keyboard w/ fingers and the font appearing on the screen. not a major problem though...
