Yeah I think probably stick with text editing. If it's doable maybe add the ability to change TV Guide listing and OSD text size. I personally think this is an excellent extra feature for the plugin.

I wonder if it's helpful/possible to consolidate the text sizing in the baseskin, right now we effectively have 3 text sizing going on:
  • Small - text for icons etc
  • Standard - descriptions etc
  • Large - headings etc

Right now it's 11pt/13pt/15pt respectabily for standard sizing and 13pt/15pt/17pt for larger sizing. If we add in the TV Listings (+liveguide) and OSD then the user could alter virtually all the main text elements.

CS-HD version committed to the SVN.

It would be good if you guys could check it out, before we post it to the wiki beta page.

I think I've reorganized the SVN layout appropriately, but you might want to double check that. I moved the bare essentials from the skin folder, just what was different and not updated but the installer applying the current theme layout during installation.

This was a bit of a rush and I haven't spent as long with the HD version as I did with the SD version, so there may be a few more quirks in the graphics and formatting.

Please let me know how you get on.

Why does the Plugin\Resources folder only have anything in it in the CS-HD one? Are all resources "HD"?

What is the file "CS-HD\skin\pvrx2\Net Radio\[DEV].txt" for?

Sorry about that. I foolishly assumed that you could cut and past a folder within the active checkout folder. But it appears that this is not the case, so the software simple deleted the folders from the shared folder and didn't add them to the CS-SD folder. Astonishingly I've spent the majority of the last 4 hours trying to put this right, and I think it's correct now.

Again my apologies, this file is my attempt to keep track of which folders I have edited files in while developing. I thought I had removed all references.

If you want to cut n paste SVN control folders you need to move to a temp location and then do a search for SVN and delete all the hidden SVN files and folders and then do the final copy to target.

I guess a bit late now but may be useful for future reference.

What I have on my plate for this weekend is fix a formatting issue with TV Recordings, and create HD version of XRecord.

Do you have a task in mind?

No, just wondering Smile

My next tasks are adding legacy direct text edits and having a go at adding the logic to cope with splitting the SD/HD resources.

The upconversion of XRecord is proving to be a little more challenging than what I had anticipated. I know it has been done, so when I get back from a wrestling tournament saturday I will hit the forum search.
