The recording was completed successfully so I think the device was working ok.

I'll try again later and see what happens.

Trying to get nextend going and I'm getting this error in the logs. Any idea what I should look for?

You need to wait for me to post an update for this new version of NextPVR. I can't figure out how to install it nicely so I need to have a hack on Linux

Here is a update for the current version of NextPVR (2020)  It should work the same as before for Windows but I cannot get it to run nicely unless you copy

/runtimes/linux-x64/native/libe_sqlite3.so into NextPVRServer folder.

with the deb file installs that is

sudo cp /opt/nextpvr/system/runtimes/linux-x64/native/libe_sqlite3.so /opt/nextpvr/system/

If anyone can figure out how to fix NextEnd.deps.json to avoid this I would be happy to see the solution.

I downloaded the latest NextEnd files and copied "libe_sqlite3.so" to the NextPVR server folder and get the following error.

2020-01-05 14:28:45.959 [DEBUG][9] Starting: bash -c "'/var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/PostStartup.sh' "
2020-01-05 14:28:45.984 [ERROR][6] Error:
2020-01-05 14:28:45.984 [ERROR][6]   An assembly specified in the application dependencies manifest (NextEnd.deps.json) was not found:
2020-01-05 14:28:45.984 [ERROR][6]     package: 'SQLitePCLRaw.provider.e_sqlite3', version: '1.1.11.121'
2020-01-05 14:28:45.984 [ERROR][6]     path: 'SQLitePCLRaw.provider.e_sqlite3.dll'
2020-01-05 14:28:45.984 [DEBUG][9] /var/opt/nextpvr/scripts/PostStartup.sh has exited

So I searched for SQLitePCLRaw.provider.e_sqlite3.dll on my Linux NextPVR PC and found that it was missing. In my Win 10 NextPVR PC that file is present and is located at c:\Program Files\NPVR\client.

Should this file be in the Linux NPVR distribution?

After copying SQLitePCLRaw.provider.e_sqlite3.dll from the Win10 PC to /opt/nextpvr/system my Linux PC NextEnd started OK without errors.

I will have to look it shouldn't even need that file, that might be why I have been having so much trouble.

Thanks,

I seem to be having trouble with NextEnd. I upgraded to v5-3.1 and installed dotnet 3.1.0. I recorded FCS Championship: James Madison vs. North Dakota State this morning while I was out bike riding. Came home and checked to see if NextEnd was working properly. It started and created a NextEnd.log. See below for excerpt.

2020-01-11 08:59:01.497 [DEBUG][1] College Football FCS Championship: James Madison vs. North Dakota State 2020-01-11 09:00:00
2020-01-11 08:59:02.260 [DEBUG][1] Error from livePVR -a College Football FCS Championship: James Madison vs. North Dakota State 1/11/2020 5:00:00 PM
2020-01-11 08:59:02.260 [ERROR][1] LivePvrData.Data.Net.Responses.ErrorResponse [Message=Unexpected error, StackTrace=java.io.IOException: Unable to find event data! [FCS Championship: James Madison vs. North Dakota State]

I then started recording a college basketball game just to see if NextEnd would start and work. Thus far no new NextEnd file.

Craig

No sure what I am doing wrong but I can't seem to upload my logs.

You need to buttons to upload the logs and the zip file has to be under 1.5M

There is no college football in the ESPN API today, next one is LSU Clemson, there is only a monitor fro NCAAF not FCS

For college basketball it is monitoring these right now.
