Also....you must be runnin GBPVR 97.9 or later with the EWA.....you can't use an older version of GPVR with a newer version of the EWA.....

Answered in that thread.....short story....known issue fixed in build 39.....build 40 is current release level.....GBPVR 97.7 ships with build 38.

Thanks people working fine now - It was the gb-pvr version (96.12) that was causing the trouble

Remove the gbweb.dll...that is no longer used for the EWA....it is left over from the .Net 1.1 version.....you should only use that if you are running GBPVR 96.12 or earlier.......

Build 41 has been released.

This release integrates the web streamer that sgilani setup and got working as a stand alone web app highlighted in this thread. Good work sgilani!

I took his model, converted to .Net 2.0 and integrated the functionality into the EWA.

All the info on the Web Streamer specifics can be found on the wiki.

• This includes an upadated procedure for installing EWA to ensure that the GBPVR Auto-Repair doesn't kick off an overlay the update with what is shipping with GBPVR.
  
• The defualt settings for the Web Streamer are posted as well.
  
• Information on browser plugins is also available.
  
• Known limitations are also listed.

In other words.....read the Web Streamer area of the wiki.....

Streaming requires the user to install VLC on the GBPVR host server.

This has been in beta testing for a few weeks(thanks testers!)....there may still be some bugs with the public audience....however I hope not...

At this time no....if they click on the stream button they will get an error....we need to develop either a switch to turn it on or off or to auto detect it......

With this release I was more concerned about getting it moved from Beta to public status....will work out bugs and address this item then.

So....if people don't have VLC installed then they shouldn't click on the stream button....
