My next tasks are adding legacy direct text edits and having a go at adding the logic to cope with splitting the SD/HD resources.

Ended up being surprisingly simple

Watching my son. He is 12 years old wrestling in the 85 lb. (38kg) weight class. Considering his lack of most fingers on his hands, he has a decent win-to-loss record and came in third place in his first tournament.

Looking at the tasks page I reckon we're ready for a final beta...!

Major changes being:
* HD Edition
* SkinPlugin playing nicer with old CS3 versions.
* Running on MVPs (hopefully) improved.
* Installer improved regarding active skin requirements.
* Added Live Guide editable skin item.
* Added BBC iPlayer plugin skin files.
* SkinPlugin shows a warning message rather then simply if you try to use it with a non CSv4 skin.
* A number of preview system bug fixes.
* A number of skin and layout tweaks and bug fixes.

Thoughts?

I would agree. I added some tweaks to the BBC iPlayer, which I could have totally messed up since I cannot see the results. Give that a quick look over, and we can go final beta.

I haven't looked at the HD version yet, how are we coming on that and the separation of resources?

A few issues...

• Please wait... popup should be same size and pos as search popup (as they are both on screen at the same time, the pelase wait popup just has a higher z-order)
  
• Search results... text is shadowed half way down the screen (same for all
  
• list titles?)
  
• Program info popup to large (off screen)
  
• Program Info popup thumbnail background too large (off screen)
  
• Program Info popup buttons over text
  
• Error popup too lage (off screen)
  
• Error popup "an error has occoured" text too small
  

Will try and fix them today before a final build. Does the BBC block the searching or just the downloading - wondered if you could say anything from the plugin in the US?

As far as I know the HD resources and skin/theme is ready to go. Can you confirm that Hairy?

I've changed the HD installer and added some logic to the SkinPlugin to pick SD/HD resources based on the active skin name (HD resources used if skin name ends with 'HD'.

I haven't tried to run it because I figured it wouldn't give me popups and anything other than the start up screen. What is really surprising is, I did not change any locations or sizes that I know of, just text color descriptions or styles, along with substituting images. I'll take another look at it tonight as well.

I think I have cleared up all the BBC iPlayer issues. I can view most screens, so that helped out alot. Commited to SVN.

[ISSUE] Recording delete confirmation popup text very small (textstyle not found?).

I would have fixed it myself but I havn't managed to figure out which skin file is used for this popup...
