if you just enter my music and using sorting mode "Artists" it should say "xx Artists", can you give me that number

also was the memory issue there with every version of my music 3 beta you've tried? also do you remember the first version you tried (before the database change) or before the introduction of the "Albums" sorting mode?

well I will have to put MM3 back in and re-run dbloader again to find this info out. I will do this when I get home but it takes quite a while to run (over wifi).

I only ever tried the one version of mm3, whichever was available on 17 Nov when 1st posted to this thread.

Reven, do we have to reload the lot after ading an album? or is there an update.

in the next version all you have to do is browse to that album (make it so every file is shown on screen) in "Files" sorting mode, and then it will be added to the database. or you could just rerun the dbloader, but that would load everything, ill add a switch to allow you to specify a directory (and all subdirs) and it will just add those.

if you rip an album inside my music it should automatically add the new songs to the database.

ive uploaded beta 5 to my forum at http://www.reven.co.nz, this way it will be easier for me to keep track of things (i hate having a thread 14 pages long.....).

can some attach a itunes xml playlist one with multiple playlists and a crap load of songs would be good. i deleted all my test ones ages ago....

Here's a file for you if you still need it. It contains 2400+ songs, dunno if you consider that a crapload....
