floydy Wrote:Wizard, Did you ever got this resolved as I'm having the same problem now. I've already made sure the config GUI is pointing to the correct XMLout file, but each time I update the EPG manually it looks like its about to, but nothing happens. Thus my Guide remains "no show details". Anyone can shed some light on this? thanks.

you don't need the /s switch if you're just using Settings.xml. you should use the /c switch to combine the display-name tags because gbpvr only reads the first one.

I've read through all of this forum and tried the fixes (those I could understand) but my Guide still show no show details. I have V.59 of scraper and gbpvr 1016. Here's what I've done so far: I've reinstalled PVR, deleted and rerun the scaper, pointed my Capture Source to the correct XMLout file, emtied/reloaded EPG, kiss the dog, beet the wife and still "no show details". Please help, as the dog is wondering if I'm going to take it out to dinner first!!

the switches need spaces between them to be detected.

C:\tvguide\MSN_XMLTV_scraper_V.59 /s Settings-30102.xml /d /c

I did that. That took care of the scraper poping up, but the guide is still showing "no show details". Any Ideas...

I'm not familiar with gbpvr. do you have to specify the XML file name? of so, make sure it's exactly right. I'm pretty sure the XML output of this program is to spec, so don't know what the problem could be. maybe someone familiar with the gbpvr reader could chime in.

I am having the same issue with the programme details not showing up in GBPVR. I eventually plan on updating to the latest version of GBPVR and moving over to SD once I get the time but until then this has been great for providing the basic schedule information.

I have tried downloading using both the /d /c switches (same time) with no love. WAF will not allow me to empty the EPG since this will clear all of her reoccuring recordings (The export function does not grab this information for the GBPVR 0.95 version). I have noticed in the version 59 XML file that the programme details are present (confirmed in both the "ProgramDetails" folder & compiled XML file). I was thinking I should try downloading without the /c switch maybe?

Any help is appreciated.

Quick info:
Using scrapper version 59 and /d /c switches
GBPVR version 0.95
Program Title and times seem accurate as per early posts indicating the channels listed first and start/stop enteries e.g. <programme channel="2" start="20071002050000 +0000" stop="20071002053000 +0000"

Note I kept the old Autobot Transform file and what ever other files were automatically generated from version 46? Should I try clearing these and having version 59 recreate them?

Thanks for the great utility.

the /c switch combines all of the display-names of the channel into one for gbpvr, so it should not help to remove it, but you can try...

If you look back in the log, you will see that it updated the autobots transform file for you automatically.

EDIT: ok, glad it's working for you.

***--= EDIT ==-***
Okay turns out that I am an Idiot. I was looking through the EPG data and the program details are there for the NEW listings that it downloaded so I guess GBPVR only imported what was necessary and not all the data - I would know this had I emptied and updated the EPG data. So I hope that my mistake will provide others the answers they are looking for.

DrLava looks like you beat me to the punch I was just trying to update my original post
Thanks again

I had this working, until last night I tried to update and it said it could not find channel 3 information, I removed channel 3 and then it said it could not find channel 4 information. I tried again this morning and it did the same thing. Is the server down or is it just me?
Thanks
