The UltraXMLTV Enhancer. It's pretty awesome...

I would like to see the ability to have the TV grid filtered so only movies appear and you could do all the normal things when you select a program in the listings grid.

If you were to add this, I am sure others would request other filters such as just showing Sports or Kids' shows, etc.

thanks for the suggestion, but as you are (a) able to colorize programmes by their genre and (b) define groups of channels that are shown in separate guides, I don't think that I'll add something like this.

In the context of the features you mentioned, I am asking for the ability to define a separate guide based on genre(s) rather than channels. A movie could appear on any of the channels so you can't define before hand which channels to display in the guide. Also, I would want to only , i.e. filter what is shown, see movies in the guide so even if a particular channel is included it would not include displaying the non-movies.

TV Listings can switch between Guides of different predefined groups of channels. Unfortunately, the display grid does not identify which of the Guides is currently being used. Am I missing something in what is already implemented?

no, I won't be adding something like this, sorry.

Could you please try and describe a bit more detailed what you have done and what you want the plugin to display, maybe together with a screenshot?

I defined several guides in CONFIG. See attached JPG.

To show you an approach to what I'm looking for, see the attached screen print from XGuide showing that it is currently displaying the "Test Guide".

I'd also like to take another run at convincing you to add a filter capability. I've attached a screen print from how Excite.com can filter and just show one category in its television listings. The attached snapshot shows just the movies for the time period. This is what I would like to see added to TV Listings and/or GBPVR.

You can have the screen title include the guide name by changing the skin.xml text to @screenNameGuideName.
What, me worry?
